Every year, UB IEEE participates in the IEEE Region 1 Student Conference. At the event, we compete in a variety of different competitions in the following areas:
- T-Shirt Design
- Engineering Ethics
- Research Paper/Presentation
- MicroMouse Robotics
In 2013, the conference was held at the Massachusettes Institute of Technology.
In 2014, the conference was held at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
In 2015, the conference was held at the University of Vermont.
In 2016, the conference was held at Central Connecticut State University.
In 2017, the conference was held here at the University at Buffalo.
